Automotive Service Advisor
 

Requirements:

• ability to receive customers with courtesy and efficiency
• knowledge of automotive systems and ability to explain repairs to customers
• knowledge of warranty and service orders
• ability to estimate time of service or repair jobs for scheduling
• ability to encourage vehicle service/maintenance and problem prevention to customers
• accuracy and attention to details with great communication skills
• patience and great listening skills to effectively obtain information from customers

Responsibilities:

• establish rapport and trust with customers
• document vehicle problems by listening to customers describe them and with probing questions
• maintain contact with customers, provide estimates and schedule appointments
• communicate with Technicians to obtain information on required vehicle repairs
• recommend additional maintenance and repair services to customers when appropriate
• work independently, able to prioritize, good time management of workflow
